Thinking of giving us money?
That’s actually a pretty cool idea.
The Cleveland Review of Books is a nonprofit journal of criticism operated by a small, highly dedicated editorial team (that’s us, hi) that relies on donors (that’s you, potentially) to make our work possible. We champion innovative writing in many forms: reviews, essays, interviews, uncategorizable experiments, as well as fiction, poetry, and excerpts from small and independent publishers. Founded in 2018 to fill a gap in regional criticism, we amplify Midwestern voices and concerns while engaging in dialogue with writing from around the world.
Every donation we receive provides vital support for our operations. Select donors receive recognition in print issues. All donors receive increased dopamine levels and our undying gratitude. Each year, the costs to run this magazine rises, and your contribution makes all the difference in ensuring our longevity for years to come. Plus, since we’re a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, any donation made to the Cleveland Review of Books is fully tax-deductible.
We appreciate your interest and support.
