The Cleveland Review of Books is a non-profit journal of criticism operated by a small, highly dedicated editorial staff (that’s us, hi). We rely on donors (that’s you, potentially) to make our work possible.

Every donation we receive provides vital support for our operations. Donate to CRB and you’ll help us continue to:

1. Publish writing that is essential, exciting, innovative, and which champions the work of independent presses, authors, and cultural organizations;

2. Host events in collaboration with local institutions to foster a vibrant and accessible intellectual community in Cleveland and beyond;

3. Pay writers and produce high-quality print editions while making strategic investments in a physical space (yes, in Cleveland), expanded editorial coverage, and programming.

Select donors receive recognition on our website and in print issues. All donors receive increased dopamine levels and our undying gratitude.
